Job s galore at career fair

The Career and Education Fair 2006 from June 23 to 25 should benefit the 60,000 fresh graduates still unemployed.

Jointly organised by JobsDB.com and IFFM Sdn Bhd and supported by the Ministries of Education, Higher Education and Human Resources, the fair will be held at the MidValley Exhibition Centre.

"It will be a boon to job seekers," said Shahul Hameed Dawood, organising chairman and general manager of Job sDB.com, as at least 10,000 job s would be on offer.

Deputy Minister of Higher Education Datuk Ong Tee Keat, launching the event, commended Job sDB and IFFM for their efforts and urged other industry players to follow suit.

The three-day event will feature training sessions, seminars and talks to keep employers and employees abreast of latest developments in the career industry.

The fair is open to the public from 10am to 7pm and admission is free. Job seekers are advised to come prepared with resumes and other relevant documents.
